Rockheim Hall of Fame honors artists and contributors who have distinguished themselves in the development and spread of Norwegian popular music, highlighting the significance of the music. The first inductions were made in 2011.
An artist/contributor can be considered no earlier than 20 years after they debuted with a release, contributed to a release, were involved in an artist’s career, or otherwise left their mark on the history of popular music in Norway. A jury with representatives from the Norwegian music industry is responsible for the annual selection.
