After releasing their fourth studio album East of the Sun, West of the Moon, a-ha heads to Brazil and the festival Rock in Rio II at Maracana Stadium. 

January 26 1991, a-ha plays for 198 000 people - a new record for most tickets sold to a concert, according to Guinness World Records. 

Cry Wolf - Just Loomis photographs a-ha, 1991 will display a selection of photos from Rock in Rio II and a-ha's tour in South America same year. Many of the photos are never exhibited before. 

The exhibition opens at Rockheim May 14 and will be on display until May 2021.

About Just Loomis​
Just Loomis (1957 Reno Nevada) art and fashion photographer, living in Los Angeles, started photographing portraits on the streets of Reno in the early 70’s.
He later became Helmut Newton’s longtime assistant and friend. Loomis has been published in international magazine including the New York Times Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar. He exhibits internationally. His recent book, Backstage won the 2019 New York Book Show award and was exhibited at the Helmut Newton Foundation, Berlin. Loomis has done seven album covers for A-HA including the iconic Grammy Award nominated Hunting High and Low.
